Ken Eddy has been helping clients buy and sell Real Estate in Calgary since he began his career with RE/MAX back in 1988. Growing up in the steel town of Hamilton, Ont; Mike’s first love was hockey. The irreplaceable lessons learned on the ice and in the dressing room helped lay the foundation for building an impressive resume. Licensed in 1992, Mike built a solid real estate career by not taking shortcuts, trusting the tools on hand, and following attested systems. After a decade and a half in the trenches, he purchased  RE/MAX Realty Services, eventually doubling the sales associates to over 300. Creating real estate training programs that deliver relevant, proven, and compelling content, helping to empower all agents to succeed personally and professionally.

Brent, along with his wife Sabrina,  love to travel, to get out of their city, and explore the world. But how do you achieve this when running 24/7 as an individual realtor? Brent has found the answer to this question by creating a business model that does not require his physical presence to operate effectively.

“Street Smart – Street Safe”

How to recognize, avoid and protect yourself from threatening situations!

Eden enjoyed a long and lustrous career with RCMP. He was selected to be part of the security detail on several occasions for such VIPs as the Queen, Governor-General and the Prime Minister. His long hours of surveillance gave him an in-depth understanding of how stalkers would act and how to recognize threats.

Since 1971 Eden trained and developed his Martial Arts skills, eventually becoming the most senior instructor for Canadian Go-Ju Kai (Karate.)  He also earned a black belt in Iaido (use of a Samurai sword).

Entering into real estate sales in 1979, over time Eden achieved many industry benchmarks such as the Edmonton Real Estate Board Platinum Medallion Club, and the RE/MAX Circle of Legends award. Eden’s policing background and decades as a realtor have given him a unique set of skills. This experience allowed him to develop programs focused on personal safety. He has presented at several universities as well as real estate functions.

Eden will be offering his advice on being aware of your surroundings and recognizing and avoiding threatening situations. He will also demonstrate techniques to help defend yourself and get out of potentially dangerous altercations.
