Alan Tennant is proud to be a REALTOR®! He’s a been a career REALTOR® since 1985, named CREB REALTOR® of the Year in 1995, was President of the Calgary Real Estate Board in 1998 and most recently served as 2006 President of the Canadian Real Estate Association. A local newspaper readership survey named Alan Airdrie’s Best Citizen in 2009. Currently Alan is Vice-Chair of the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations.

While contributing to his profession on dozens of committees and task forces, Alan has built a strong market presence in his hometown as a residential REALTOR®. He works tirelessly to improve the quality of life in his community which resulted in him being named his community’s Volunteer of the Year in 2005 and he was awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal and a RE/MAX of Western Canada Special Service award.

Alan describes his investment in organized real estate as having both costs and benefits. One of the key benefits was deciding to form a partnership that would eventually evolve into a team structure with commissions of just over $1,000,000 in 2009. A successful real estate marketing team requires fully integrated systems and a shared commitment to client satisfaction. Use of technology, outside the box thinking and plain old marketing are some of the keys to success that Alan will be sharing.
